Currently working on these crochet diamond motifs...I have 10, i need 14 in 3 different colours and 6 halfs of each colour, long way to go but im attempting to create a version of that bag.
I found this pattern in issue 19 of Inside Crochet by Helen Myers, I remember being unable to follow the pattern to create the correct shape so made up my own version, however i have recently discovered i crochet in American terminology and it is an English magazine so that may have been my problem.
Issue 19 page 52 of Inside Crochet, the bag is designed by Helen Myers. As mentioned i couldn't work it out from this pattern though and made up my own based on the same principles of increasing and turning corners in a granny square.
i've been working on this bag too, and mine aren't the right shape. thanks for this picture.
